"Oh if that doesn't put convidence in me about Jack not losing things, I don't know what will!" Barbossa said sarcastically. He continued to run, now in the lead.
Robin however noticed the arrow in Jack's arm. "You're hurt!" she said and ran to Jack. "We have to get this arrow out of your arm."

"Can we wait 'till we're not bein' chased by people-eating....people?" Jack managed to yell, still running and the arrow still sticking out his arm. Adrenaline pumping he hadn't felt any pain yet and although it got in the way he decided to leave it there until they were back safely on the ship before even attempting to yank it out. Reaching the ship, the Captain hauled himself up the thick rope and over the small banister onto the ships deck.

Barbossa had made on the ship before Jack. After Jack, Robin was able to climb up on to the ship. Barbossa began to shout orders to the crew to prepare to cast off. Robin went over to Jack.
"Hold still, please," she said and grip the end of the arrow in order to pull it out.

Jack remained lying on the deck still, out of breath. He peered over at the arrow, grimacing at the sight of the thing sticking out his arm. "It's fine - leave it in, just snap it off or something...." He said forcing a smile on his face. Thing was, with arrows, they're more painful being pulled out than going in.... He waved his arm about, nearly hitting Robin in the face with it, trying to show it wasn't bothering him and it was fine right where it was. "See?" He hoped that was enough to persuade her.

Robin didn't listen to him. In one quick pull, when Jack wasn't looking, she pulled the arrow out of him.
"There ya go," she said. "Now, lets find you a bandage."

"AHHHHHH!! You-" He was about about to yell obscenities at her but stopped himself as he grabbed onto his bleeding arm, sure he felt her rip out the rest of his arm with it. Luckily it appeared to still be intact. He said nothing, eyes lowered, watching her look for a bandage while he muttered under his breath. "Bit o' rum'll sort it out." He reached over for a bottle.

Robin moved the bottle just out of Jack's grasp.
"No rum for you," she told him. She then return to her quest for the bandage only to come up empty handed. She then ripped off part of her sleeve from her shirt and began to tie it around Jack's wound. "Hold still, please."

Jack watched as she bandaged his arm with bit of his once perfectly good shirt. He peered across at the rum that was just out of reach wondering if he could slip it under his torn shirt without her noticing.

Once he was bandanged, Robin turned away from him. She picked up the rum. "No rum for the Captain. I've always wonder you are like sober," she said. She held the rum up teasingly.

"I dread to think." Sparrow mumbled to himself as he carefully stood up and looked her up and down, eyeing the rum. "Fine. There's plently more rum where that came from, love." He turned, not knowing if they did infact have anymore rum aboard.

"Unless you and the crew drank it all," she said. "I've heard that Turtoga sells some of the finest rum around. Is this true?" She continued to hold the rum, away from Jack.

Jack spun back around and swaggered up to Robin, lowering his tone of voice. "Tortuga...not has the finest rum but wenches, taverns, people..." He carried on listing a few other things that he found so great about Tortuga, rambling on slightly as he daydreamed.

"Well then why don't we go there," she suggested. "You're not going to get any rum otherwise."
