At that moment, a man walked into the tavern. His hair and beard were long and black and he dressed in a splendid green vest and a white shirt. A purple cloak hung from his shoulders and a white chef's hat was on his head. His name? Bart. Before he was blinded, working as cook and rum-brewer on Jack Sparrow's ship. He walked up to Jack and Robin and looked at first Jack, then Robin "Captain Sparrow, what's all the ruckus? And who," he said, looking at Robin," is this?"

"Just 'ow I like it mate!" He stated, a grin appearing on his lips at the thought of that much rum. His smile quickly faded however. Jack sighed and his eyes rolled at the thought of Davy Jones' crew outside. The Captain raised a hand containing his battered old hat, and placed it sloppily on his head, shadowing his eyes and concealing his red bandanna below. "Right, lets get out of 'ere." He took a deep breath just quickly glancing around for another way out, another route of escape.

"Yes, but how?" Barbossa asked as some of Davy's crew burst through the door of the tavern. Robin picked up a bottle of rum that was left on a table, sat down, and stared at it, unsure whether to try it or not. A crew member of the Flying Dutchman walked up to her. "Yer coming with us," the crew member said. Unfortuately this crew member was rather stupid. "No I'm not," Robin replied. "Uh..." the crew member started. He was stumped. "Why not?" "Because I don't exist in this time period," Robin said and took a sip of rum and spat it back out, making a disgusted face. "This stuff is rancid! How does father like it?! Ew!" "Gimme it!"the crew member said, reaching his hands over the table to grab the rum, but Robin batted his hands away. "Don't you have manners?!" snapped Robin. "I mean I hated learning manners myself, but the least you could do is say 'please'! Also, 'gimme' is not a word! Even my father has more manners than you, scum, and he was a pirate just like yourself! And then he became bloody Lord Sparow and wears silly pants, drinks rum all the God d**n time, lies to his own daughter, and lives his life in a drunken blur! And being the daughter of him isn't at all great because he hardly remembers your name, lies to you, makes you wear big, puffy, itchy dresses, and does whatever mother says!" The crew member stared at her, like a deer in headlights, unsure of what to do or say.

Jack froze in his frantic search for an escape route and turned towards Robin. He took the few steps it took to reach the table that Robin had sat at. He rested both his hands on the small battered table and leaned forward. "What did you say your father's name was?" He asked in a low tone, ignoring for a second, the fact that Davy's crew had entered the tavern. She had caught his attention when he heard Sparrow mentioned. Well that's what he'd like to think, when really it was the fact that someone had called rum 'rancid' which he found quite impossible to believe.

"Lord Sparrow," she said. "Earned the name from my grandfather, Ex Governor of Port Royal, I think. At midnight is my 'birthday'. Well my parents call it that when actually it is the day that my father found me in an allyway."

"Lord Sparrow eh?" For a second he tried to rack his brains to see if he was related to any Lord Sparrows since they shared their second name. After a second of pondering he shook it off as the rum clouded his brain and it was getting harder to think. Jack couldn't ignore Davy's crew anymore. In a rushed decision, he decided via the back would be the best way to go. "Time to go!" He hurried to the bar and launched himself over it in one jump. "Follow me." He added. In his frantic rush, he knocked the bartender off his feet. "Sorry mate!" He called back as he finally the back door.

"My father is you in the future..." Robin whispered sadly to herself and got up to follow Jack. "Lord Jack Sparrow..." Barbossa following Jack, Robin a small distance behind him.

Jack inhaled the clear air, no longer thick with the stench of rum. "Right," He began, panting slightly, a result of his mad rush out of there. He spun on his heel to wait for the others to catch up. Once they had reached him, he took one final breath in and peered around. "Anyone know where I docked the ship??"

"Ah!" Jack spun on his heel again to see the ship docking. He squinted his eyes trying to get a proper look at it. "That is my ship right?" It was strange what a lot of rum can do to a man... Deciding that he had no other option anyway, he sprinted towards it and began to clamber aboard, hoping he wouldn't find someone standing there, saying 'what are ye doing on my ship?' He sighed as he reached the deck gazing around at the familiar sight. At least he was on the right ship.

"What be the name of this ship?" Robin asked Jack once she was aboard. Barbossa also came aboard. "Heading, Captain?" Barbossa asked.
