"The Black Pearl." Jack said proudly as a smile slicked onto his lips. He then turned his attention to Barbossa. "Wherever the sea takes us mate." He stated in a dreamy sense as he then began to think of where they could go where there would be treasure and rum, the perfect place for any pirate.

"Aye,Captain," Barbossa said. Robin sighed sadly and seemed lost in her thoughts. She pulled the exact same compass that Jack had except this compass looked a bit older. She flipped open the lid. The needle was swinging around in high speed, unsure where to point. She then realized the compass could not point her to where she wanted it to because the place she wanted to go to didn't exist yet. She closed the lid of the compass and held it in her hands, now staring at the stars in the sky, thinking of her home and family. She then tried to think of her friends when she realized she had none. She was an outcaste in Port Royal, despite her family's weath and history. She was called many names by the other children such as Bird Brain, Book Worm, and Birdie Girl. She felt a tear come down her cheek and tried to hide her sadness from the other pirates.

Watching the tear roll down Robin's cheek, Jack became very suspicious of this 'boy'. He stepped towards Barbossa and away from Robin for a second. "Barbossa, is it just me...or is there something...strange about that boy?" He asked in a mumble so she would not hear. His eyes never left her as they squinted, trying to get a better view of her face.

"Aye sir," Barbossa replied to Jack. "Shall I have a talk with him?"
Robin sighed sadly, and continued to look at the stars.

"Wouldn't 'urt to try." He thought it would be better if he stayed back and watched from afar, he was never good with confrontation. The captain poked Barbossa in the back, he gestured towards Robin with a brief nod towards her as he waited for Hector to go over to her.

Barbossa held out his hand. "The key," he said. "I'll talk to him only if you give me the key to the rum storage room and let there be no rum drinking tonight. Deal?" Barbossa grinned at Jack. "Or not?"

('tis me! Sorry I haven't posted lately, ok posting...)
A grin crossed Jack's lips and he chuckled slightly at Barbossa saying that. Once he'd realised Barbossa wasn't laughing with his, his smile vanished and he stopped laughing. "Oh you're being serious." He furrowed his brow looking at the man infront of him up and down. "No rum? As in...no rum at all...not even one bottle?" He paused for a second, a horrified expression on his face. He then lowered his voice tone and took a step towards him. "Are you feeling alright?"

('Tis okay, Jack.)
"Not even one drop of rum, Jack," Barbossa said. "Do we have an accord or not?"

Jack narrowed his eyes. Rum was a pirate's best friend! (Ok that and a ship and the sea and...oh and that jar of dirt in Jack's case!) Maybe Hector had a plan about rum or maybe it was dangerous or...there had to be some rational explanation! None the less, he agreed and reached into his pocket, pulling out a shining silver key. He held it infront of Barbossa's face. "Guard it....with your life." He spoke quietly before placing the key in his hand.

"Oh yes, save the rum and not your life," Barbossa said sacastically and put the key in his pocket. He walked over to Robin and had a long and deep conversation with her. Finally he came back to Jack. "Well, Jack, it seems that the rooster is a hen," Barbossa said metaphorically.

There was a long pause while Jack tried to figure out what the metaphor meant. He took a step to the side and looked past Barbossa at Robin for some time before stepping back to reply. Another long pause followed that while Jack just stood there, his gaze flicking from Barbossa to Robin, when it suddenly fell into place. That look of confusion faded onto his face again. "You mean he's a...she's a...." He trailed off. "He's a she?"

"Yes, Jack, she's a girl," Hector said. "Her name is Robin Sparrow and she assured me that you two are not related in anyway. She isn't from around here, she told me. And yes, I assured her that you did allow females onto your crew and I swore you wouldn't kick her off. Besides we could use a girl's hand 'round here anyway, especially to help clean up your cabin!" Hector laughed and walked away and Robin continued to look up at the stars. Obvisiously she had lied about her relation to Jack Sparrow.
